Palmer's Conrail Glory Days #15 - Eastbound Autoracks

CR 6586 (C30-7a) leads 4 other units east across the New England Central and east past the depot on the mainline trailing an ML series autorack train. Unfortunately I have no records of the symbols of the train I saw this day, but I am fairly certain the autorack trains were all 'ML' trains by 1996, ML being short for Multi-Level. Unlike Conrail mixed freights, whose symbols reflected their origins and destinations (FRSE = Framingham - Selkirk), the ML (and TV) trains had numbers following the initial symbol and did not clearly reveal their routings.
