MC 2004 and MC 2002 (M420W's) sit on a causeway across a backwater of the Sheepscot River west of downtown Wiscasset, ME on the front of a relatively long train that had been tied down there until they arrived from the east and tied on. The first block of cars includes several former ROCK hoppers wearing B&LE reporting marks, presumably carrying coal to the cement plant in Thomaston. The Maine Coast could not have tied this train down in a better location photographically if they had tried.
