MC 958 (S1) is a former Maine Central unit of former Maine Central track on the north side of the US 1 crossing in Wiscasset, ME. While these are in a sense home rails for the 2nd hand switcher, the Rockland branch was worked by road switchers and it is unlikely this Alco switcher ever worked in this location while laboring for its original owner.
The coach appears to be an for former Lackawanna MU power car, assuming that the former DL&W 2567 and EL 3567 was not renumbered by subsequent owners to avoid updating the number boards on the sides of the headlight housings.
