NS 23K on the Buffalo Track at Binghamton

This October 2016 capture of the NYS&W and NS yards at Binghamton certainly doesn't feature the diversity of cars and activity that the same vantage point would have in the EL era. But NYS&W is using an attractively liveried ex-SP tunnel motor to shunt the frac sand hoppers around. And the 23K power set is using a UP SD70M today. 23K's power will cutaway from the single stacked containers from Ayer MA to pick-up the double stacked EMP containers from Scranton before departing for Chicago. And today is not one of those 50 or so sunny days Binghamton enjoys each year!
