As Daylight Fades an Eastbound Heads for Cajon PassATSF 5816 (SD45-2u), ATSF 5048 (SD40-2u) and ATSF 3412 (GP39-2u) with an unidentifiable 4th unit lead as eastbound freight thru Devore, CA on their way up Cajon Pass as the last gasps of daylight provide almost enough illumination for a passable photo; the overexposure of the headlight should give an idea how wide open my lens is.
You may have noticed another person watching the train is a few of these photos; I did not recall there being another person here until I was working on these photos. If you recognize yourself looking at these photos, my apologies. I don't even recall if we exchanged names or even talked much between trains. Is 26 1/2 years long enough to excuse the forgetting?
