2 SP Stack Trains Meet at Aztec, AZ

A westbound Southern Pacific stack train behind SP 9606 (early GP60) meets an eastbound SP stack train behind SSW 9700 (late GP60) and SP 8021 (B39-8) and 1 more at Aztec, AZ. Unfortunately I did not have a red filter with me for the bloody nose paint scheme but the color separation at the rear of the 9700 is still visible, though the 'fingers' on the sides of any of the noses are not.

Photographed by Warren Beckwith, March, 1995.
