Amtrak 254 arriving Hudson NY

On an overcast humid day, Amtrak 254, the Sunday only morning train from Albany - Rensselaer to Penn Station in New York, weaves around curves under the Ferry St bridge at Hudson NY approaching the station platform. The high frequency of Amtrak service on this line warrants the pre-positioned step stools along the 2 low level platforms. It must have been fascinating to watch New York Central's steam powered Great Steel Fleet pass through town back in the day.
