CN's Stouffville Streak in the summer of 1972 - 1

The "Stouffville Streak" approaches Stouffville Ontario, about 30 miles northeast of Toronto on an evening commuter run. As this is the last stop on the 60 minute run, the pair of RDC1s will pause for a few minutes and then return to Toronto. In 1972, one train departed inbound at 0705 and one train returned in the evening. Today GO Transit runs hourly service between 0500 and 0000.

Looks like a Dad will be welcomed home from a hard day at the salt mine.
