On a summer's eve in 1976, diminutive westbound Amtrak #73 has a high green on main 2 on its way to Fairport NY. Exemplifying its name, that's the Erie Canal at the far left and the track on the left is east end of the West Shore bypass around Rochester. Note that there is a move pending on the Shore as the crossover turnout is reversed. Buffalo is #73's final destination.
