Alco S4 Roster shot

Interestingly accessorized ex-D&H Alco S4 #104 was captured on a dreary September morning at Claremont Concord RR at West Lebanon NH in 2015. #104 had an intermediate owner as indicated by the faded lettering under the cab window, Quincy Bay Terminal (which at one time operated track around the Fore RIver Shipyard at Quincy MA). Apparently at the time of this capture #104 was OOS due to freeze damage. Two years later, CCRR's new owner Genesee & Wyoming sold this unit and one other ex-D&H S4 to the Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley excursion line in upstate NY. #104 is currently undergoing repairs. Ironically, before it became a multibillion dollar shortline conglomerate, G&W owned a couple of S4s that it used for its salt mine ops at Retsof NY.
