NJ Transit Boonton Line Train Passing Denville Tower

NJ Transit 4149 (GP40PH-2) leads a westbound Boonton Line train past the former DL&W Denville tower at Denville, NJ. After stopping at Denville this train will join the former DW&W mainline west to Dover. This tower, which controlled that junction, was one of those at which I first qualified as a towerman during the summer of 1964. At that time there was a 3rd Boonton Line track closer to the tower, separate from the surviving tracks, and passenger trains stopping at Denville would have used that track.
