Fire Breathing Dragon on Conrail's River Line, Little Ferry, NJ

A fire-breathing dragon, aka a rail grinding machine, heads west (compass north) from the Bergen Tpke crossing in Little Ferry, NJ during August, 1993. Seeing this beast pass was quite the experience, though its slow speed did reduce the number of freights on the River Line that day.

Photographed by Warren Beckwith, August, 1993.
Added to the photo archive by Warren Beckwith, January 18, 2021.
Railroad: Conrail.
