It's a few days after C-Day (4/1/76) and a pair of EL locomotives finds themselves leading an eastbound manifest in the previously foreign land of the ex-NYC/PC Frontier Yard in Buffalo, 434 route miles from New York City.

Photographed by John Barlow, April, 1976.
Added to the photo archive by John Barlow, January 14, 2021.
