Amtrak Arriving Kingston Station - Oct. 2020AMTK 619 (ACS-64)leads train 174 into Kingston Station during October of 2020. Since the previously posted 1993 photo, the station has been restored, moved back from the track, and raised to high platform level (long before high platforms were actually installed here a few years back). Parking has been moved to the far end of the station and the old parking area is now lawn. The platforms are now high level and the railroad has been electrified. The F40PH has been replaced by ACS-64's. The center platform for track one has been moved to the north side of the tracks and a footbridge added to keep track 1 passengers and Acelas separated. On the far right the lumber yard has added several new buildings. I don't have a 1993 Amtrak schedule, but I suspect more trains stopped here before the COVID service reductions than stopped in 1993.
