Conrail eb at Wayneport in summer of '76

Conrail borrowed a fair amount of foreign power in its first few months of existence. Here a GP40-2LW leads a M424 and M636 pulling an eastbound manifest east on the ex-NYC main at Wayneport NY. I'm guessing the MLW units have long ago been re-cycled but the lead unit continues to soldier on for G&W's NECR in Massachusetts in faded Rail America livery.
