Montreal- Halifax train.

The Ocean has completed its station stop at Matapedia, Quebec and is about to pass under the Interprovincial Bridge on its way east. During the station stop at Matapedia a number cars had been set over, to become part of the train from there to New Carlisle and Gaspe. The road switcher will be set out during the upcoming stop at Campbellton. At that time fuel and water will be topped up and provisions added to the train. The region was well known for Salmon fishing, which could be reflected on dining car menus.
