Eastbound UP Freight on BNSF Exiting Abo Canyon at Scholle, NM

CNW 8524 (C40-8) leads a mix of power including CSXT 7806 (C40-8W) 2nd out, followed by an ex SP EMD, a UP unit and what might be an ailing lease unit on an eastbound stack train exiting Abo Canyon back when the line thru the canyon was still single track. I suspect this might be detour move to Vaughn, NM, avoiding work or a problem between El Paso and Vaughn on the Golden State route, but I never knew that this stranger was do on this busy stretch of railroad. Just ahead of the train is the US 60 bridge over the former Santa Fe freight line, with a rest area conveniently located at the highway west end of the overpass. Year is an estimate.
