NS 11R trundles down the Binghamton track

NS 11R from Pan Am's East Deerfield yard, led by an ex-QNS&L SD40-2 (with another such unit behind the ex-Soo SD60), passes the somewhat iconic former GLF feed mill (now Perdue) near what used to be D&H Bevier St Yard (D&H BX Tower controlling the DL&W diamond would have been just to the left of 3402). 11R will take track 5 ahead to cross the ex-Erie main at CP-BD to head to East Binghamton Yard (ie, ex-DL&W Conklin Yard). NS had owned this track just 6 months at the time of this photo. A lot has changed in Binghamton over the past few decades!
