As the eastbound Union Pacific stack train led by UP 4181 heads east toward the N 9th St. crossing that provides access to the park, a westbound UP train approaches the crossing as well. Thanks to the left-hand running on these former C&NW tracks, the westbound will pass on the near side of the eastbound.
