The Selkirk scene from Ben's Bridge on Halloween 2011

Selkirk yard used to be a much fan friendly locale when the old Jericho Bridge, renamed ""Ben's Bridge" after local resident Ben Giovannetti was instrumental in keeping the girder bridge open across the heart of Selkirk Yard. Alas, CSX demolished the bridge and south abutment (where fans congregated swapping the latest rumors/info) in December 2015. Here a pair of eastbound CSX pig trains await new crews while occupying the run through tracks adjacent to the receiving yard. Haven't revisited Selkirk in years given there's no photo venue here.
