UP 8444 is pictured, climbing between Walnut and Spadra stations, near Grand Avenue in City of Industry, California. Speed was 50 mph. By Rule of thumb; crews would expect to be able to climb Cajon Pass no faster than half that speed. On radio 8444's engineer announced being ready to take it up to 60. Diesel crew announced he already had "all their (throttle) notches."

That's an impressive capture with terrific visual effects - the Greyhound color scheme on 8444 looks fantastic!
