This is a view from along side of the newly reconstructed Newport Secondary track in Newport, RI. For years this was a double track coming into the city. It was reduced last year to a single track. The current plan is to build a bikeway in the place of the removed 'west track'. Meanwhile, we are waiting for the tourist train traffic to be resumed.
