Guilford second hand bargain power.sd40 and 45's.#601 was turned into a road slug later in life by the terminal railway of st.louis. Not to be confused with the more recent mec 601 ex kcs sd40-3 which may be deceased.

Nice capture there, Larry!!! Love the high hood ex-Southern units behind the leader. Absolute worst thing that could ever have been done to then was the application of the black/orange paint. They should have been left as they were sold. And yes, you are correct about Pan Am 601. In the process of being made into Chinese razor blades
