1960's Hi-Rail truck, New York Central Style

After the passage of the passenger train led by NYC 4017, the operatior of this 1960's New York Central hii-rail maintenance vehicle has returned to the driver's seat and is heading away from Leach Rd. in Lyons, NY. If memory serves me correctly, I got this man's address and mailed him a print of himself at work. At least I hope I followed thru; too long ago to be certain.

Been a while since I've seen one of those Cab-overs. Back in my Navy Seabee days we would all pile into the back and head down to the Mess Hall.
