New York Central's 1st U25B at Lyons, NY

The engineer handling the piggyback train led by U25B 2500, New York Central's 1st Uboat, glances over at the photographer standing nearly beneath the NY 14 overpass in Lyons, NY as his train heads east. Remarkably this unit survives today, 53 or so years later, at the Lake Shore Railway Museum in North East, PA and looks virtually the same as it did when I photographed this when it was about 3 years old.
