Erie Lackawanna Freight Eastbound Out of Port Jervis, NY Aug 1967

An Alco C425 leads almost brand new EL 3613 and EL 3614 (SD45's) on an eastbound freight accelerating for the climb ahead to Otisville Tunnel. This train must have been bound for Maybrook and the New Haven, or it would have been my ride back to Croxton on a locomotive pass on my final day of my final college summer of work for the Erie Lackawanna, 3 summers as a towerman with 1 as an assistant signal maintainer mixed in. I have photos showing both SD45's but not one showing the Alco on the lead. It was not new; if only I knew then what I know now. Oh well
