Guilford had declared D&H bankrupt on June 20, 1988 discontinuing its operation and NYS&W began directed service of the D&H as of June 23rd using its own power as you captured at Mohawk Yard a month later. NYS&W directed service of D&H lasted until CP purchased the line in 1991. Excellent photo!
