Steamless Steam Excursion Returning over Moodna Viaduct

NJT 4300 and NJT 4302 (GP40-2's) lead C&O 614's NJ Transit fall foliage excursion home to Hoboken without the star of the show, which was still sitting on the wye at Campbell Hall with the left side driving rods disconnected from the cylinder. I've been entering these as October, 1998 but it is entirely possible it was 1997. I am working from scanned negatives on which I was foolish enough not to record dates as part of the file names.

Photographed by Warren Beckwith, October, 1998.
