C&O 614 Clearing Steam from Cylinder on Campbell Hall Wye

On the one trip where C&O 614 could not make the entire journey to Port Jervis back in 1998 (I believe), it was removed from the train and parked on the east leg of the Campbell Hall wye, which was conveniently across the tracks from the station platform at Campbell Hall. Here the crew is venting steam from the cylinder on the ailing left side of the 614 to allow the crew to get to work.

Photographed by Warren Beckwith, October, 1998.
