C&O 614 Limping Into Campbell Hall WyeAfter hearing on my scanner at the west end of Otisville Tunnel that C&O 614 was ailing this Saturday, I managed to drive back to Campbell Hall in time to see the excursion bull into Campbell Hall. C&O 614 was pulled into the east leg of the Campbell Hall wye, which once led to the Erie's connection to the New Haven at Maybrook in the olden days. By 1998 the wye was a good place to park an ailing steam locomotive while the protect diesels moved in to complete the round trip to Port Jervis and return to Hoboken.
