New York, New Haven and_______.

Hartford, that is, as it entered the Penn Central era. Built in 1889, the station was already 80 years old at the time of this photo. Now 130 years old, It is regarded as "Romanesque", but it looks rather Gothic in this view from the south. It still has an ornate iron-supported canopy, but has since been reduced to one track.
