Warehouse Point Bridge

Penn Central Train #140, The Bay State, drums across the bridge over the Connecticut River at Warehouse Point, CT. The lead engine, #7533 is on its home rails here, a former New Haven GP-9 as evidenced by her Hancock Air Whistle. The train is going to Boston via Springfield. The bridge dates to 1903 and was essentially kit built from sections built in England. It is still in service.
