Guilford bought the Maine Central the previous year, and units will soon still carry the Maine Central name but not the old colors and the Pine Tree herald like these. The yellow really bounces out at you in the low late afternoon sun as shown by this solid brace of ex Rock Island U25Bs led by MEC #230 coming off the East Wye in Ayer
