Lincoln, NH

If the track were narrow gage it would be reminiscent of a scene in Colorado, but it is the end of the Boston and Maine Pemigiwasset Branch and the beginning of the former East Branch & Lincoln. At this time the there was still a paper mill there rather than the current shopping center and condominium complex. They still owned a steam switcher, EB&L #5, and probably still used this tank for its intended purpose. I don't know if it was formerly used or owned by the B&M. I think there is also a coaling tower to the left. Fortunately Clark's Trading Post preserved both the tank and the EB&L engine
