Last Of The New Haven Heavy Moguls

New Haven 2-6-0 #468 was among the last of the Mogul types to run on the New Haven, at least it was among the last to be scrapped. I don't know the date or location, but I am guessing it is in Boston in the late 30s. I like the built up sides on the tender to hold more coal, the mismatched classification lights and the steel sheet added to the pilot to push away snow.

Yes, this is Boston. It's the Southampton Street engine house which had an odd footprint because it backed on to a waterway.
