In summer of 1966, my Dad took me and a couple of friends on a round trip on the EL from Owego to Corning, NY to visit Corning Glass Works. We boarded train #15, the Hoboken to Buffalo Owl, (appropriate name for an overnight train) at Owego and arrived at Corning around 8AM under heavy river fog.
