Once Upon a Time At Beacon Park

Lightning striped NYC E-7 #4016 emerges from under the Cambridge Street bridge at the west end of Beacon Park Yard. Among my first rail photographs, nice capture but stupid position. I would not do this now out of consideration for the train crew regardless of my reckoning of the way the switch was aligned. .An old tower and freight house visible in the background distance would soon be swept away for the Massachusetts Turnpike extension.

Nah, never mind your imminent demise.. Iā€™m admiring the curves in that building in the background!!!! Looks almost as good as the curves displaying those lightning bolts!!!šŸ¤£šŸ¤©šŸ˜‚
