LV's daily Sayre to D&H interchange Binghamton freight sits at the switch to the Erie Lackawanna main (at the left) at mp 236 Owego awaiting clearance onto the EL for the 22 mile trip east to D&H rails. Behind C420 408 is fellow C420 413 on this summer day of 1970. Consist is stretched out on the Auburn Branch bridge over Owego Creek. 408 & 413 will return to this spot in a few hours with interchange from the D&H.
