NS acquired these units 5-10 years ago from Helm and FURX leasing companies to use for local or yard switching assignments around the system. Here a pair shunt what is likely a New Jersey bound cut of international containers that should depart on the 36T manifest heading for Allentown in the late afternoon or evening. Note that contrary to folklore, the sun does shine in Binghamton on occasion!
