New London Crossing Protection

Ted Clement does the honors at the crossing just west of New London station as ex-NH PC GP-9 #7554 crosses at grade. We forget that railroads are people as well as rolling stock. Ted was a great guy, always friendly, and I spent some time with him when I could while stationed in New London.

Ron, this picture, and your comments, are classic , so true, and need to be tattooed on every railfan’s forehead.
