And speaking of Chinese-built steam locomotives in the US, Valley RR shop did a very good job cosmetically transforming an SY class into a replica of a New Haven J-1 class 2-8-2. Here it is hauling an excursion north on Valley rails at Haddam CT in fall 2018.
