In May 2014, I rode as co-pilot in a friend's Fairmont track car the length of the ex-D&H Adirondack Branch being operated by Saratoga & North Creek. As we rounded the bend just out of North Creek, a pair of ex-PRR E8s, attractively decorated for DL&W were being stored out of service along with other miscellaneous passenger equipment.
