Trenitalia Express passing Cinque Terra National Park Hikers

Trenitalia's line between Rome and Genoa Italy uses the Cinque Terra Railway built in the 1870s employing 51 tunnels and 23 bridges as it hugs the Mediterranean coast line. Here a northbound express passes through the station at Manarola, one of five towns in the Cinque Terra region. A spectacularly scenic hiking trail, accessible primarily by Trenitalia, connects the 5 towns.
