After waiting for a fleet of eastbound trains to pass at the siding at Maricopa, AZ, a westbound intermodal led by Cotton Belt GP60 departs appropriately into the setting sun on the ex-SP Sunset Route. The year is 2001 and UP had acquired the already merged SP and D&RGW five years earlier.
