GBW 306 Working Beside Broadway Tower Green Bay WI

GBW 306 (RS20) switches across Broadway on the north side of Green Bay adjacent to the former Broadway Tower. GBW 306 was built as an RS3; it was upgraded to 2000 hp and give the low nose in Feb., 1976. The upgrade did not eliminate the smokey turbocharger lag, obviously.

Photographed by Warren Beckwith, June, 1981.
Added to the photo archive by Warren Beckwith, May 7, 2019.
Railroad: Green Bay & Western.
