2 Locals Fouling Broadway in Green Bay, WI Together

GBW 309 (RS-11M) and CNW 4487 (GP7R) work across Broadway at the former Broadway Tower in Green Bay, WI. The 2 railroads had adjacent yards on the north side of Green Bay; The Green Bay & Western's former Kewaunee, Green Bay & Western (KGB) line to the Kewaunee car ferries crossed the Fox River a block behind me. Today the tower and the GBW grade crossing over Broadway are gone; the CNW yard is now at CN yard which appears (on Google maps) to incorporate parts of the old GBW yard here. GBW 309 was built as a high-hood RS-11 for the KGB which was merged into the GBW in 1969; the unit was upgraded to 2000 hp and got the nose chopped in 1964.
