In July 2011, the Iowa Interstate RR hosted a 4 day Trainfest featuring a number of steam hauled excursions east and west out of Iowa Interstate's riverfront yard at Rock Island. Here's an eclectic gathering of Iowa Interstate's QJ 2-10-2 #6988 (Built in China in 1986), NKP 2-8-4 #765, brand new BNSF ES44C4, CB&Q Nebraska Zephyr led by E5 Silver Pilot, and a couple of tank engines.
