Cameron IL features a busy crossing of ex-ATSF Chicago-KC main over the ex-CB&Q Chicago-Denver trunk just west of the important BNSF class yard at Galesburg. A pair of year old ES44DC units leads a manifest on the Santa Fe as an eastbound coal train (perhaps from Wyoming's Powder River?) approaches. Perhaps 100 freights + Amtrak's Cal Zephyr and SW Chief pass through Cameron each day.
