NKP 765 on the Nickel Plate Road

In the spring of 2013, NS ran several steam powered employee appreciation excursion trains around its system for employees and families. On a blustery chilly cloudy mid May morning, NS train 957 led by NKP 765 is westbound approaching Shinrock, OH on the former NKP's Cleveland Division about 15 miles from Bellevue, OH, where the train will turn for its run back to Rocky River. 765 must have run over this NKP mainline a gazillion times in its work days of the '40s and '50s as a high speed freight puller.
