In July 2011, a four day Train Festival was held in Rock Island, IL featuring a number of operating steam locomotives and other historic equipment. Here NKP 765 is leading the "Bureau Express" round trip excursion east through Annawan, IL on the ex-Rock Island main, now the regional Iowa Interstate RR. Tail car on the lengthy consist is beautiful Milwaukee Road Sky Top "Cedar Rapids". 765 is smoking it up as it nears Patriot Renewable Fuels ethanol plant. And the railfan peloton is in hot pursuit.
